Joseph Phillips has become the sixth candidate to be fired from The Apprentice by Lord Alan Sugar.
In episode six the remaining candidates jetted off to Dubai to put on a corporate away day for two international clients based there.
Whilst one team showed off the glitz and glam of the city the other went for a more traditional approach in the desert.
But back on home soil, it was the end of the road for zoologist Joseph and he was sent packing.
In the boardroom, Lord Sugar said: ‘Joseph, you were responsible for the kitchen and ultimately that was one of the reasons for the failure of this task.

‘The food was burnt, and the service was poor, so it is with regret Joe, you’re fired!’
In the taxi home, Joseph said: ‘I’m a Zoologist and I’ve been thrown into the business world.
‘I’ve learnt so much from this process and I can’t wait to take that knowledge and apply it to my own business and hopefully make a success of it.’
Before going in to the process, Joseph described himself as the ‘James Bond of the business world’.
He previously worked as a safari guide in South Africa and wanted Lord Sugar’s investment for his environmentally friendly lip balm business.
While Joseph was fired, he was not the only candidate to leave this week, as entrepreneur Reece Donnelly had to withdraw due to health issues.
Waterloo Road actor Reece, 25, was unable to travel abroad due for health reasons and so was forced to quit the show.
Announcing his departure, he said: ‘I could not continue in The Apprentice due to being unable to complete the task in Dubai for health reasons.

‘I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time on the show and I’m looking forward to watching my fellow candidates in the rest of the series, I’m so grateful for my time with Lord Sugar and the team.
‘I hope you all enjoy the show as much as we laughed making it. As the first Scottish candidate in over 8 years, let’s do this Scotland,’ he told the Daily Star.

Last week, Shazia Hussain said goodbye to the process after week five saw the candidates are tasked with branding an electric motorbike and creating an advertising campaign before pitching to a panel of experts.
Firing Shazia in the boardroom Lord Sugar said: ‘Shazia, I like people who admit their mistakes. The problem here is that there were so many mistakes.
‘If it was one thing fair enough, overlook it, another thing, fair enough, overlook it. But there were so many mistakes. Shazia it is with regret that you’re fired.’
Shazia said in the famous taxi afterwards: ‘I think Lord Sugar made a mistake firing me. He’s missed out on a great investment opportunity, but he’s going to have to live with it.’
During the episode, Shazia was keen to put herself forward on the branding team because of her media degree where she studied modules on advertising.

Over: The technology recruiter said goodbye to the process after week five saw the candidates are tasked with branding an electric motorbike and creating an advertising campaign
This led to her becoming the sub-team leader, but not many of the suggestions made were from Shazia herself initially.
She came into more ideas when the team chose the name ‘Zip Zap’, as she designed the logo to feature checkered flags on the circles within the letter P.
This did not go down well with their market research findings as members of the public thought it was the letter F instead, making the name ‘Zif Zaf’.
Fans of the show were quick to comment on the not-so-great result of their advertising campaign, with one writing: ‘What in the GCSE Business Studies is going on here.’
Another said: ‘I can’t believe that Shazia is doubling down on the load of rubbish that she earlier admitted responsibility for. Wait, I absolutely can believe it.’
A third simply wrote: ‘Fire all three.’ Another added: ‘I feel sorry for the designers, these lot come up with garbage.’
The Apprentice continues tonight at 9pm on BBC1.
